DAB+, also known as Digital Audio Broadcasting Plus, provides crystal-clear audio quality and interference-free reception. DAB+ uses the AAC+ audio codec, which allows for greater compression without loss of audio quality and is comparable with CD audio quality. It uses a more efficient coding system to transmit digital data resulting in more stations being able to broadcast on the same frequency and allows for the delivery real time data services such as such as the station name and logo, presenter, song title and album artwork.

Camera Inputs.

To enable a smarter driving experience, this receiver features 3 camera inputs allowing the utmost in convenience, flexibility, and safety. With 3 camera inputs, you can connect a front camera or a KENWOOD dashboard camera (DRV-N520 sold separately), rear and side (blind spot) cameras. Alternatively, 3 camera inputs can support several other configurations, including the connection of 2 side cameras, a front camera or a reverse camera. Setting of camera type and display switching between the 3 cameras can be operated easily via the receiver’s large screen. AV input is assignable as 3rd camera input.

Digital Time Alignment (DTA) Unlike the speakers in a home audio system, you are not free to adjust the position of speakers in your vehicle. This restriction on the positional relationship between the speakers and listener will often result in an unnatural sound field. DTA allows you to digitally delay the closest speakers so that the sound of every speaker reaches your ears at the same time. It makes the sound move to the front top of dashboard in order to get the best stereo imaging & soundstage.
13-Band Graphic Equaliser In Preset Mode, you can select one of the equaliser preset curves. Choose the User Mode to fine tune front and rear channels individually according to your preferences and compensate for tonal differences between the front and rear speakers arising from installation positions and size. The result is a natural audio reproduction environment and enhanced listening enjoyment for you. Easily customise your settings with the wave of a finger! Just by running your finger along the touch screen panel, the Graphic Equaliser will follow your movement to easily tune your audio settings.
Active 3-Way X'over Mode for advanced sound system building. Frequency settings via Low Pass Filter, Band Pass Filter & High Pass Filter, can be adjusted according to the speaker type (tweeter, mid-range or woofer). You can create an advanced sound system that uses each speaker unit potential to its max.
